Waking up on the Gulf is pretty awesome!  I'm honestly not much of a beach person, but I've found this to be my one.  The water is calm, the sand is cool and packed, and the weather in February is just perfect!  2025 was actually my second year down here, I came down for the first time in 2023, and couldn't wait to come back!  Surfside Beach is a dry camping experience #byob (bring your own bathroom), but the chill factor is through the roof!  Just pull onto the sand and put it in park.  While in Texas I also visited San Antonio and Austin for the first time!  Austin was so big and busy, I didn't end up doing much there, but San Antonio was a different story.  The Riverwalk was really neat, and the Alamo and other historical sites were really cool to check out.  Honestly, one of my favorite towns was Waco on the way home.  I did have to check out the Magnolia stuff, and it was alright, but honestly, all of the small, local shops and restaurants were my favorite part!  Special shoutout to Repose Waco, Fabled Bookshop, and Milo.  Check out the pictures!
